Richard Holden

MArch BSc (Eng) CEng RIBA MICE - Director

Richard Holden has over thirty years practice experience in architecture and engineering. His experience, as both an architect and engineer, is wide and varied and includes private residential and large scale housing projects, office, industrial, educational, listed and historic buildings and retail projects. Richard studied architecture at Columbia University, New York, USA and engineering at University College London before working for several architectural practices in the US and UK. Richard is a Liveryman of the Company of Tylers and Bricklayers and a Freeman in the City of London.

Rupert Ford

BA(Hons) Dip.Arch.ARB.RIBA – Director

After graduating from Oxford Brookes University in 2005, Rupert began his career at NG Architects. He went on to join Living Architects, whilst also completing his RIBA Part II qualification at Oxford Brookes University, where he specialised in sustainable and energy-efficient building. Rupert is an imaginative, thorough and highly creative architect, who enjoys working collaboratively with clients and colleagues. Rupert has a wide range of experience from individual new-build and renovation projects through to physical on-site experience, working alongside contractors and specialists. He has worked for a range of private and public clients within the commercial, residential and education sectors. Rupert combines his work in architecture with a keen interest in historic buildings and has recently rebuilt and extended a Grade-II listed Almshouse.

Peter Phang

BA(Hons) Dip.Arch.ARB – Architect

Peter has over 30 years of experience as a qualified architect. Since graduating at the University of Westminster, Peter’s project experience has been primarily in the residential sector, however his portfolio also includes projects in the education, transport, leisure and commercial sectors, working with established architectural firms and also as co-director of his own practice. Peter’s pragmatic approach and organisational skills compliment the design orientated requirements of each project, helping to ensure schemes are fully realised to meet our clients’ expectations.

Aimee Robinson

BA(Hons) M.Arch

Aimee achieved her RIBA Part II qualification in architecture from the University of Lincoln in 2015. Since joining Holden Harper in 2019, she has worked predominately on high quality residential projects, new builds and bespoke extensions. She assists throughout all RIBA work stages of our projects, from feasibility and planning to working drawings and contract administration. Her previous experience includes small scale residential and educational schemes. Aimee is currently working towards her Part 3 Qualification.

Valerie Pickles

Office Manager

Val joined Holden Harper in 1988, and effortlessly manages all aspects of office administration and finance. In addition, she is responsible for the daily activities involved in running the practice.
